Got a ton of stuff for you today, folks. In the last two weeks, the Booktube community has been seriously shaken by sexual assault allegations of one Booktuber to another. I made a video about the story, where I explain several features of sexual trauma and how it can be treated, and the relationship between it and fantasy fiction. This became my most watched video in the history of my channel, but unfortunately some viewers simply saw this as a black-and-white "either I believe one party or another" and completely missed the point of it. To help, I edited out the comments related to the news story and focused on the content--a general discussion of sexual trauma and how it is healed. You can find it here:

There is a follow up which I made that discusses more specific elements of the case--again, not to accuse anyone of assaulting anyone else, NOR accusing anyone of false allegations, but to discuss the complexities of SA. I am not commenting on the legal status of the parties in any capacity. There are really no winners in cases like this. This video is only now available via direct link, and you can find it here:

On a lighter note, I will be sharing some new book trailers for King of the Forgotten Darkness along all my platforms. Just in case you haven't seen any of these, here is the first one:

Next up, a Podcast with Aster Jowell over at the Wax Quill! In this episode, we are talking about story theme, mental health, and fantasy fiction! Check it out right here:

Last but not least, for all you fiction writers out there agonizing over how to create a good Query letter to send out to agents and publishers, I give you my take right here:

More to come soon! Until next time, Imaginarians :)
